Uniform Policy

A. Pants

  • Solid tan-colored khaki
  • No more than one size larger than the waist
  • Worn at the waist
  • No low-rise, bagging, sagging, or dragging
  • No cuffs in the pant legs
  • No jeans, cargo/carpenter pants, leggings, or sweatpants of any kind

B. Walking Shorts/Skorts/Skirts

  • Solid tan-colored khaki
  • No more than one size larger than the waist
  • Worn at the waist
  • Must be at least fingertip length
  • No boxers, running shorts, or denim of any kind

C. Shirt Styles

  • Polo-style solid short or long sleeve shirts in Navy Blue. Students in Grade 5 have the
    option of wearing the same style shirts in solid red.
  • Cap sleeve and sleeveless polo shirts of any kind are not approved.
  • Shirt should fit appropriately and not be more than one size larger than the student’s
    body size.
  • No logos, designs, or pictures on shirts unless school logo
  • No bare waists, midriffs, bare backs, and/or low necklines permitted
  • Undershirts, if worn, must be solid white
  • Cold weather tops (i.e. crewneck sweatshirts and fleece) were added to the school
    uniform in 2007.

D. Shoes

  • Athletic shoes, leather shoes, and boots are all acceptable but must be solid black.
  • Sandals are permitted in warmer weather but must be solid black.
  • NO flip flops of any kind will be permitted.
  • Socks or solid-colored tights must be worn with athletic or leather shoes and must be
    either white or black.
  • Athletic shoes must be worn for physical education classes.

E. Accessories & Grooming

  • Belts, if worn, must be solid black.
  • Colors for hair accessories should be limited to red, black, blue and white.
