Exploring Inquiry at the Sculpture Garden

Hi, Tamara,

I’m one of the tour guides who worked with the 5th graders from Elizabeth Hall during yesterday’s visit to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.

I just wanted to let you know that my group was terrific. The students were engaged, curious, thoughtful, listened well, used strong observational skills….and seemed to have an uncanny ability to balance on three points! (The picture shows them trying to emulate the extraordinary balance achieved in one of the sculptures, using only three ground points.)

We are a corps of volunteer tour guides and it’s groups like yours that makes our efforts so enjoyable. The kids were wonderful ambassadors for your school, and we hope to see you again in the future!
