Ms. Valmé graduated from the University of MN in International Relations and French. She continued her studies and received her Master’s in Education from the University of St. Thomas.

Interesting things about Ms. Valmé:

Her favorite book is The Velveteen Rabbit, by Margery Williams.  It was the first chapter book that she read as a kindergartner and it has followed her from all the places she has lived and still has a spot to reside on her bookshelf at home.

Her passion is traveling and learning more about various cultures.  Her parents are from Jamaica and Haiti and their worldview has inspired her to travel to Jamaica, Haiti, England, Switzerland, Italy, Senegal, Gambia and Costa Rica.  Ms. Valmé’s next wish is to visit Machu Picchu, the ancient Incan Empire in Cusco, Peru.
