How We Organize Ourselves


Our unit of inquiry How We Organize Ourselves is an inquiry into the interconnectedness of human-made systems and communities; the structure and function of organizations; societal decision making; economic activities and their impact on humankind and the environment.

Our central idea is: People's careers contribute to the well being of themselves and their communities.  Our lines of inquiry are *Different careers contribute to the community through either goods or services. *Careers help people meet their needs.  *People prepare themselves to make career choices.

This unit will be taught January 24 through the week of March 1st.
